Surface Preparation
• New concrete surfaces must be at least 7 days old before application.
• The surface must be clean, dry, free from oil, contaminants, and loose particles. Surface preparation should be done by high-pressure water jetting or scrubbing. If mold is present, clean the surface with sodium hypochlorite (cleaning solution) before rinsing thoroughly with clean water. For loose surfaces or large cracks, cut or remove the defective area and repair with non-shrink repair mortar before applying ACRYLIC ROOFKOTE.
Primer Application
• Add 20–30% clean water and mix well for use as a primer coat. Allow the primer coat to dry completely before applying the top coat.
Waterproof Coating Application
• Stir the material in the container thoroughly before use.
• Apply ACRYLIC ROOFKOTE by spray, brush, or roller on the prepared surface. Do not apply more than 1 kg per 2 m², as this will result in a thin film and reduced waterproofing performance.
• For multiple coats, wait until the previous coat is completely dry (approximately 2 hours) before applying the next coat, applying each coat perpendicular to the previous one.
• Fiberglass mesh reinforcement can be embedded between layers of ACRYLIC ROOFKOTE to enhance strength and durability.
• For the final coat, 5–10% clean water may be added to achieve a smoother finish.
