Surface Preparation
• The surface be coated should be dry, clean, and free from loose materials, other contaminations as well as free from oils and fats.
• Roughen the surface with diamond grinding, clean off the dust.
• Ensure substrate moisture content less than 4% part by weight.
• Apply HYFLOOR 170 at the rate of 0.10 – 0.15 kg/m2 and allow primer to cure.
Mixing
• HYFLOOR EM is supplied in pre-weighed packs ready to use on site. DO NOT add solvents or thinners.
• Mix the resin and hardener components together with aggregated sand in the mixing vessel at the recommended ratio using a forced action mixer or heavy-duty slow speed drill fitted with a purpose built paddle until uniform material is obtained.
Application
• Apply by trowel or rake, spread the mixed material evenly for the require thickness.
• Begin subsequent work after material is hardened for 24 hours.
